Toronto Ice Festival 2026: Winter Wonderland Returns | Splittly Blog
The cold never bothered Toronto anyway! The 2026 Toronto Ice Festival has officially kicked off, transforming the Bloor-Yorkville area into a glittering gallery of frozen art. This year promises to be the biggest yet, with over 50 massive ice sculptures on display.
Highlights of 2026
This year's theme is "Future City," featuring intricate carvings of futuristic skyscrapers and sci-fi landscapes. The centerpiece is a 20-foot tall ice castle that doubles as a light show at night. Visitors can also enjoy the ice lounge, serving maple taffy on snow and hot cocoa.
Plan Your Visit
The festival runs through the end of February. Admission is free, but VIP tickets for the ice lounge are selling out fast. Be sure to dress warmly, as temperatures are expected to dip below -10°C this weekend.
